I finally got up off my lazy (understatement) ass and plopped the 68K version of OpenTransport onto a Zip disk. Installed it on the Performa 460 and now it's online.
The browser I was using was text only and was understandably quick. Sadly, the browser didn't support forms. Otherwise, I would have posted a new entry on there.
I wonder what I should do next with the good 'ole Performa. I've maxed out the RAM and VRAM, added an ethernet card and FPU, and that is about it. I suppose I could add a better hard drive in there. Not anytime soon, though. Money is too tight even for a small expense like that. Tough crackers. I'll probably put some older games and software on there and just have fun. Good times.
I finally put the new PRAM battery into the G3 Server's motherboard. This should stop it telling me on startup that its time is off. This would stop it until I clicked OK. Not very good on a automated server.
Nevertheless, the G3 server is now back online. All I have to do is find a way around the fact that I no longer have a static IP. There are some easy things to do, I suppose.
